Bread is an interactive flash fiction written for subQjam 2019. It seeks to unravel how global warming will change the way we live in the future.
How will we secure our food supplies?
How will we help those negatively impacted?
What will we do when people flee rural areas and flood into the cities?
Bread allows players to make choices about how they would react when faced with some of the above questions, but if we want to avoid them entirely, we need to make choices in the real world...

Your entry is amazing and my favorite out of the ones submitted.
I wanted to warn you though that if you choose to not follow the boy there is an error with the outro where a red error message shows up and covers the text. There is still time left in the jam to fix it and I can give you more information about replicating it if you need it.

PS I think I know what's going on. The audio files are cached on the startup screen. Did you leave the game and then come back to it? Because it looks like if you do that, itch dumps all the audio files, then there's an error when they're called in the script. The only way I can see to fix it is to get rid of the audio from the game :(
